I love Paint!!!!

I love paint and I love what you can do with it and what you can transform with it....

I had these cute little brown pots and found this miniature boxwood bush and was really pleased but thought it was missing something, so I thought I would use alittle paint and here you go.....

I loved how they look now and now I just need to fill 1 and 3.

I am working on making some pillows with numbers and paint. I will post when I am finished with them.
Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed evening.

Yesterday morning was a rainy, dreary day here in Ohio and a great day to hang out with my mother. After enjoying some wonderful coffee, we decided to head to Holmes CO. to browse the great shops there.
I have been eyeing one of these for my flowerbed, so I found one at Country Gatherings. After a late lunch we headed to pick Hailey up and then headed to the greenhouse to pick up some annuals to put in pots and our vegetable plants for the garden.

Let the fun begin, now all we need is some nice weather. Oh the joys of spring/summer!!!!
Thanks for stopping and hope that you are enjoying your day, wherever you are and whatever you may be doing.

Come Sit and Relax

I had purchased this outdoor fabric for $ .50 a yard a year or so ago and so this week I pulled it out and started sewing some pillows for the front porch. I love the way that you can put something as little as a pillow and the pop that it gives you. We love to sit on beautiful spring evenings and enjoy the view off of our porch.

This little boy is loving this beautiful weather....He has been living outside and finding all kinds of things to do.
He was trying to rock his cat to sleep. I wasn't sure for awhile who was going to fall asleep first.

Color is Coming....

I absolutely love this time of year.....the budding trees, the green grass, the birds and the flowers. I ususally hold off until after May 15th to buy my annuals, just to make sure that I'm not throwing my money away because of frost, but the other day when I was buying strawberry plants and some of my seeds to put in the garden, I couldn't resist snatching up several of these gorgeous Gerber's, (which happen to be one of my favorites). Up until that point I still wasn't sure what my color scheme was going to be outside this year, but I think it will be the reds and yellows. I always do the red and white and blues, but after seeing these I thought that I would change it up alittle this year. So there is slowly some color coming to our front porch.
