1st grade...

Today was Hailey's last day of school. She is done with kindergarten and has informed us that she is now in First grade! Where in the world did the time go? She had such a wonderful school year and loved everything about it and even though she is not a morning person, she never really complained about going to school and looked forward to what new thing she would learn that day. I would often hear her explaining to Jace what she learned. She was Mrs. Smith (her teacher) and he was the student and needed to listen to her and pay attention:)

Alphabet Parade

Today at school the kindergarten classes had an alphabet parade and the kids where supposed to dress up as something that starts with the first letter of their first or last name. Hailey's was "E" and she wanted to be an eagle. (I wanted to do an elephant, but because elephants are big, fat and smelly she didn't want that) so eagle it was.

AHHH Warm Weather.....

Now that we finally have had some warm weather, we have been able to get outside and work on the outside of our house (since last year there was nothing but a mess here with the addition), but its so much fun. Don't get me wrong there's still lots to do yet and I'm still dreaming, (I can hear my husband groaning at that:) but were finally getting somewhere.

Hot Air Ballon....

Last night while we where outside we spotted a hot air balloon coming just above the trees towards our house. They where really low for a while and then took it back up. We thought for a while that they where going to land in a field right beside our house, but they didn't. The kids where loving it.

Awesome God

Today Hailey has a field trip to the zoo and all week there has been rain in the forcast for today and they where going no matter what the weather was like and so I kept praying all week, God please change forcast or something. This morning when we left for school, it was raining!! By the time I had dropped her off and was heading home agian, it had stopped raining and you could just see the sun poking its face through the clouds. I don't know if they will have rain at all today, because there is a hit and miss chance of rain all day, but it was really awesome, God just saying in his own way that he cares so much about every detail and I just need to ask him and truly believe that he will do it or help me.

Jace's New Room

We had a room upstairs that has been used for storage ever since we moved here, and after Jace was born knew that it would someday be Jace's big boy room. Well the time has finally come when Mike and I had time to work on it and so this has been the project at our house for the past several weeks.

Mike's New Toy

So Mike came home the other night with this new toy. He has been wanting a bike for a long time to ride to work and wanting one that needed some work, kinda as a project, so this is what he got. He had it out last night and came back all smiles, now just alittle bit more fine tuning and he'll be off.

Jace digging, well ok as much as you can dig in the garage:). They where here to cement our driveway and where laying forms and stuff, so couldn't dig out in the dirt, but we had been working on a few wood projects so he was scooping up the sawdust.
