My brother Gary is on the Kidron Fire Department and Hailey & Jace have been wanting to go and see and sit in the fire truck so this morning after breakfast at my mom and dads we went to the fire house. They where so intrigued by it all and Hailey has decided that she wants to be a fire woman when she gets big.
Wed & Thur of this week, Hailey was in a winter cheer leading camp at the school, they were learning two cheers to perform at the half time of the JV game on Friday night. She had so much fun and can't wait for the next camp.
Today was my little boys 3rd birthday, O where has the time gone. Is it really his 3rd birthday already? He was all excited about the party that would take place this evening and I would hear him going around the house singing "Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to Jacer, Happy Birthday to me, happy birthday to me". Oh the joy of a child. In my devotions the other day I was reading how God has created us with many emotions and that we take life way to serious sometimes and why not get excited about those little things and I was just reminded that life is so short and how quickly they grow up and that I need to celebrate, really celebrate the birthday of my son, who has brought so much love, laughter and silly things to my life. I love you Jace.
It started snowing yesterday afternoon and then let up last evening, but when we woke up this morning it was snowing again. It's soooooooo beautiful. I love snow.
One of Hailey's request of something that we do while she was home for Christmas break was go bowling, so this evening we headed to Wayne Lanes to do some bowling. We had lots of fun, we did two games and the kids where not ready to go. After bowling we headed to Applebee's for some supper. It was good just to get out as a family and spend some time together before our life starts getting back into a routine with job and school again.
I am a stay at home mom to two beautiful children, Hailey and Jace, there is never a dull moment. I am married to my high school sweetheart and the love of my life, Mike. We live in the country and have a small barn with several beef cows, cats and dog. We love to be outside, vegetable garden, and I like to flower garden, I love decorating and woodworking and seeing what I can create. I am very much of an amateur blogger, but enjoy having it as an outlet for me and I love looking at other blogs and gathering inspiration from them.
I am continually amazed at the love and grace by my heavenly father and it is my desire to serve him with my whole heart and in return show that love and grace to others around me.
